He's beautiful - but I'd be asking questions about the pouliced front legs, and also the really big horses may have soundness issues. But a beautiful horse.

Right you are! The big horses are definitely more prone to soundness issues (but I still love 'em!).
The poultice doesn't bother me so much, as I have heard that it's a very common practice at the track. It would, of course, require some inverstigation (if I were seriously looking...alas, this is unfortunately just fantasy).

He is puuurrrdddyyyy!!! If you are seriously considering a horse right now, look at Bid on the MidAtlantic section. 5yr old 16.1h gelding....I want him soooo badly, and if you got him I would know he went to a FANTASTIC home and I could read his blog...and he isn't that far from me so I would be very happy to go look at him/take more pictures for you if you wanted!!! Lol, I am not helping your obsession at all am I? Can we say enabler? But Mister Tuff Stuff here is quite nice looking, it is odd that they posted these pics, w/ his poulticed legs and half braided mane, it looks very spur of the moment!! Oh, and Bid is only $500.... :)!

Alana, you are too funny! :-) I can tell that YOU are in love with Bid, so I think he should be your pony. ;-) He is REALLY cute -- unfortunately, it says that he has arthritis and is only suitable for occasional low jumping, so he wouldn't work out for me.

Oh no!!! I wonder if I missed that or if they added it after I found him...either way, I am all wimpy...hmmm...Bailey is a 10yr old 16h reg TB w/ a perfect bill of health....No, she is a great horse and isn't going anywhere...Oh well, off to find you another horsey!!!lol!

That is a goooood looking horse. He looks quite tall. Do you think you might look at quarter horses and paints?
